How it works

From profile to verified match in four steps

We do the hard work of checking alignment before an opportunity ever reaches you — so you only spend time on funding you can actually pursue.

1

Complete your funding profile

Tell us about your mission, programs, population served, geography, 501(c)(3) status, IRS filing, financial documents and funding needs. Your progress saves automatically.

2

We score every opportunity

Each verified opportunity is scored against your profile on a 100-point scale, with mission alignment weighted at 40 points.

3

Review your matches

See why each opportunity matches — or doesn't. Eligibility warnings, disqualifications and required documents are shown up front.

4

Apply with confidence

Use official funder links, save opportunities, track applications and draft letters of inquiry — all from your dashboard.

The 100-point match score

Every recommended opportunity earns a score from 0 to 100. Mission alignment is weighted most heavily — and a hard disqualification always overrides a high score.

Hard disqualifications

An opportunity is marked Not Currently Eligible — and never recommended — when any of these are true. A high score never overrides a mandatory disqualification.

The opportunity is closed
The official application page cannot be verified
Your nonprofit is outside the eligible geography
The missions do not meaningfully align
You don't serve the required population
You lack the required tax-exempt status
You don't meet the operating-history requirement
You exceed or fall below a mandatory budget restriction
A current Form 990 is mandatory and you don't have one
A full Form 990 is required but you only filed a 990-N
An independent financial audit is mandatory and you don't have one
A required partnership is missing
SAM.gov or UEI is mandatory and you don't have it
The opportunity is invitation-only and you weren't invited
